Bensalem Township Waterfront Revitalization

For two decades, the Mayor and Council have looked towards the Delaware River and seen it's potential for Economic Development. Over those years, Bensalem Township participated in an array of studies involving the Riverfront. In April of 2014, the Mayor and Council partnered with the Bensalem Economic Development Corporation with the purpose to create a tool to develop it's Riverfront.

The study area was 675 acres between I-95 and the Delaware River and between Station Ave and Street Rd. It is primarily an industrial site with 25 acres of wetlands, 75 acres of floodplain, and 175 acres of fabrication facilities.
